Dr. Peter Rösmann
Peter Rösmann is a lawyer, notary and a specialist banking and capital market lawyer.
He advises and represents banks, insurance companies and other financial service providers in all areas of banking and capital market law. His work extends to the interfaces between insolvency, insurance and corporate law. The focus of his work as a lawyer is on litigation. Within this context, he also develops cross-case defense strategies for class action suits. As a notary public, Peter Rösmann notarizes, inter alia, real estate and inheritance law matters.
He publishes and presents academic articles on banking law. He is a member of the Banking law Association - Academic Society for Banking law, and of the Foundation alumni association of the Sparkasse Financial Group. Before joining Grüter, Peter Rösmann was a partner in the law firm Streitbörger.

Vita
After training as a banker, Peter Rösmann studied law in Münster, with a focus on banking law. After passing his first state law exam in 2006, he obtained his doctorate under Prof. Dr. Matthias Casper in the field of banking law. He completed his legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Münster with practical stages in Windhoek (Namibia), Hamm and Düsseldorf in 2010 with passing his second state law exam. He was admitted to the bar in 2010. From 2014 until the end of 2023, he was Partner at law firm Streitbörger PartGmbB.
