Information on data protection in accordance with Art. 13, 14 and 21 of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Sections 32, 33 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG):<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We collect, store and process your data as part of the client relationship. In doing so, we are committed to the principle of data security as well as data economy. You can of course rest assured that the notarial obligation of confidentiality will be observed in every respect.<\/span>

  3. <\/span>For what purpose do we use your data and on what legal basis?<\/span>\n

    We process all personal data in compliance with the GDPR and the BDSG. We collect and process the data in order to fulfill the notarial mandate. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. We also process your personal data if this is necessary pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR in order to protect our legitimate interests or those of third parties. Furthermore, we process your personal data to fulfill legal obligations in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 c GDPR, usually in conjunction with Section 42 para. 2 NotAktVV.<\/span><\/p>\n

    We collect the data in order to be able to process the notarial mandate. If you do not provide us with the data, the mandate cannot be processed; in some cases, data collection is also required by law.\u00a0<\/span>

  4. <\/span>Who receives your data?<\/span>\n

    Within the scope of the existing data processing relationship, your data will only be passed on to the courts, authorities and other parties involved in the proceedings to the extent necessary and appropriate. The disclosure of your data is necessary for the fulfillment of the notarial mandate.<\/span>

  5. <\/span>How long do we store your data?<\/span>\n

    We are legally obliged to store your data for 100, 30, 7 or 5 years, depending on the type of documents (cf. Section 5 para. 4 DONot NRW). After this retention period has expired, the documents must be destroyed unless their further retention is required in individual cases. We retain data not subject to this obligation for 10 years after the end of our activities. After this period has expired, we delete the data.<\/span>

  6. <\/span>What data protection rights do you have?\u00a0<\/span>\n

    In accordance with Art. 15 GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we have stored about you. You can request the provision in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable form in accordance with Art.\u00a020 GDPR. If we have stored incorrect or incomplete information about you, you can immediately request the correction or completion of the data in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR. Under the conditions of Art. 17 GDPR, you have the right to erasure of your personal data. You can request the restriction of the processing of the data under the conditions of Art. 18 GDPR. You also have the right to object pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR if your personal data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR. You can object to this processing if there are special reasons arising from your individual situation.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n
